Nashville, Tennessee
August 2003.
Our main reason for this trip was to see the Dixie Chicks in concert. The
venue at home was sold out when they were in town, so we tried several times
through Ticketmaster and finally got two tickets. What better place to see a
country music concert...Music City, USA! The picture here shows the Gaylord
Entertainment Center and the buses of the band.

Cumberland Falls, KY October 2003. With the fall colors nearly at peak, and the full moon glowing, we decided it would be a perfect time to visit Cumberland Falls, known as Niagara of the South. There are only two known places in the world to see a moonbow - at Cumberland Falls and at Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, Africa. It is truly a spectacular sight, when the full moon is out on a clear night, the mist is just right, a moonbow appears bright white.

St. Lucia, West Indies December 2003. The Caribbean. It conjures up images of blue-green waters, white sand and palm trees. That's exactly what we got in St. Lucia. Truly a tropical paradise. We spent 8 days on the island in the secluded Marigot Bay.

Atlanta, GA July 2004. Big city Atlanta, where Carol's high school friend, Mel lives. And what better weekend to drive down there than 4th of July. How lucky were we not to have any traffic in either direction.

Heidelberg, Germany September 2004. Carol went back to Germany for only 6 days. It rained nearly everyday and if it didn't rain, it was cloudy and cool.
